The Event Industry Association of Ireland are delighted to announce the re-launch of our website - which is now focussed directly on responding to the COVID-19 crisis. Firstly, we would like to extend a serious thank you to all of those who have reached out over the past two weeks to assist us with this endeavour. In particular, we would like to thank who have given our server a significant boost to deal with (hopefully) much higher traffic.

Emergency Response - Equipment, Resource and Service Providers
In an effort to support the emergency services that are currently responding to the Covid-19 crisis we have launched a live directory that will be made accessible to Emergency Response Teams. We are now calling on equipment providers, suppliers, and organisers to quantify their current available equipment, resources, and services.
You do not need to be involved in the event industry to list available equipment and supplies. It is our intention to release this information to emergency services on Monday the 6th of April - please ensure include your listing in advance (you will still be able to make edits / add listings after that date). If you have any free time over the next 6 days please share this information

Emergency Response - Professional Consultancy & Assistance
In addition to equipment, resources and services a number of agencies, organisations and frontline management teams need immediate access to industry professionals with particular skills, e.g. site safety officers, site managers, logistics managers, project managers, safety consultants, drivers, crew etc. We have committed to providing our Emergency Services the initial list of available professionals on Monday the 6th of April. We will continue to provide updated lists over the coming weeks but this initial group is critical.

Emergency Equipment and Medical Supplies
It has come to our attention that a number of suppliers, organisers and others have P.P.E. or items that could be repurposed for first responders and medical professionals. A good example of an unusual application would be (new) rain ponchos - this are currently considered acceptable as a barrier for medical personnel, or welding masks, safety googles, gloves etc. If you have any equipment, supplies etc. please either list them for donation or contact us directly and will can assist / answer any questions you may have.

Industry Representation
Working with a broad spectrum of industry professionals over the past few weeks we have begun the process of establishing an Industry Representative Group. We are calling on Industry Leaders to now step forward. If you are interested or would like to nominate someone please follow the link on our homepage.

All relevant links are available on our website: www.eiai.ie
We are still tweaking the website - if you have any comments / suggestions / have spotted a typo please let us know!
