Sarah Appleton - Travel Counsellors

Just back after a fabulous weekend at our Annual Travel Counsellors conference , this year it was held at the exhibition centre in Liverpool, what a venue! 🎪

Not only do we get to catch up with our fellow TC’s & head office team, but over 200 of our top supplier partners were also in attendance. We catch up on lots of travel product but many of these people have become personal friends. Feeling very lucky to have such an amazing community 🌍

As always TC delivered with some great entertainment:
🎭 Katherine Ryan set the tone Friday evening with a great stand up show. She was gracious enough to come back to the stage the next morning for a Q&A - she also uses TC for her own travel!
🌍 Simon Reeve the ultimate travel adventurer, journalist & storyteller! I will be catching up on more of his documentaries now as he was super inspiring.
👩‍💼Sara Davies is one of the most authentic and genuine speakers, this was her 3rd year on the TC stage. She has also hosted some great workshops with us this year. She is a huge advocate for Travel Counsellors having used TC for her own travel.

Saturday night as always hosted by Vernon Kay presenting some amazing awards to the TC community. The evening was topped off by live entertainment from The Script!!! What a weekend 💛

At the end of May I was lucky enough to spend a week enjoying the sunshine in The Maldives. This is one of the most idyllic locations in the world!
🏝️Beautiful accommodation, spectacular setting
🥂Top class service alongside delicious food & drinks
🐠Some resorts have their own house reefs and the snorkelling is by far some of the best I have encountered on my many travels.
🐬Great wildlife spotting too, again it depends on the resort but we were lucky to find dolphins and snorkel with rays, sharks & turtles
