We work to promote accessibility, inclusion and equal opportunities for people with disabilities in Ballymun. We also provide a space where people can connect, share experiences, support one another and have their voices heard.

Every conversation, every idea and every member helps make our community stronger.

Thank you to everyone who dropped in for a chat!

It was wonderful to meet members of the community, discuss the experiences and challenges faced by people with disabilities, and explore ways to make Ballymun more inclusive and accessible for all.

We are very proud that BADIG chairperson Lana Kurasidze was recognised as a Ballymun Ambassador during the launch of Dublin City Council’s “A Thriving City For All” festival.

Lana was acknowledged for her advocacy work and representation of disability groups across Dublin, as well as her ongoing contribution to the Ballymun community.

This recognition reflects the importance of visibility, inclusion and strong community voices for people with disabilities.

Congratulations Lana! 👏
