Eating healthy foods and exercising regularly are good for our physical health, but what about our mental health? How often do we take the time to nourish our minds with positive thoughts, stimulating activities, and restful moments?

Our mind is like a garden, and we need to tend to it regularly in order for it to flourish. That means feeding it with positive affirmations, uplifting quotes, inspiring stories, and engaging conversations. It also means challenging it with new ideas, hobbies, and skills, and pushing it outside of its comfort zone.

But just like a garden, our mind also needs weeding. That means taking breaks from social media, news, and other stressors, and doing things that bring us joy, peace, and serenity. It also means practicing mindfulness, meditation, or other forms of self-reflection, and cultivating gratitude, compassion, and resilience.

Our words shape our thoughts. Our thoughts shape our feelings. Our feelings shape our actions.

So, lets start with words! How often do you look in the mirror and criticize yourself, instead of appreciating the unique and beautiful person you are?

One way to cultivate self-love is through daily affirmations, like Jennifer Lewis does every morning. These are positive statements that we repeat to ourselves, either silently or out loud, to counteract negative self-talk and boost our confidence and self-esteem. Affirmations can be simple phrases like "I am enough", "I am worthy", "I am loved", or more specific ones that address our personal goals and aspirations.

The key is to choose affirmations that resonate with us and feel authentic, and to repeat them consistently, ideally in the morning and before bed. Over time, these affirmations can rewire our brain and help us develop a more positive and loving relationship with ourselves.

So if you're struggling with self-doubt or self-criticism, you look in the mirror and tell the person looking back that they're a PRETTY B......!

How often do you take a break from the world and unplug from technology?

A digital detox can be hard, especially when we rely so much on our devices and social media for work, entertainment, and staying connected with others. But taking time to recharge our batteries is essential for our well-being.

Digital detox helps us feel more present, centered, and refreshed. It allows us to tune in to our own thoughts and feelings, rather than being bombarded by external stimuli. It also gives us a chance to reflect on goals and priorities, and to make sure we're living in alignment with our goals and values.

So if you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just in need of a break, give it a try. Try it for 15 mins.... next time 30... next time an hour..

You'll be amazed at how much clearer and calmer your mind can be when you give it a chance to rest.

Take a deep breath and let it all go. 💭🌙

As the day comes to an end and you crawl into bed, it's the perfect time to simply breathe and let go of any stress or worries that may be lingering in your mind. This is a difficult task for most, especially if our brains are whizzing.

Take a moment to inhale deeply, filling your lungs with fresh air, and exhale slowly, releasing any tension that you may be holding onto. Remember that it's okay to let go and allow yourself to fully relax. Allow your body to sink into the comfort of your bed and let your mind drift off into a peaceful state. You deserve to have a restful night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.
