A MASSIVE LOSS 🥺

Conor McCormack has ended his illustrious playing career in the league following Galway's massive Connacht Derby win yesterday in Pearse Stadium in which he nade ltos of time for the fans after the game, as per! The 36 year old midfielder has been an absolutely incredible servant to the league winning 3 league titles, a First Division title and 2 FAI Cups having played with Shamrock Rovers, St. Pats, Cork City, Derry City, and Galway United. On top of that, an absolutely lovely human being! 🙌

Most recently taking up coaching with the Irish international youth teams, we should be greatly looking forward to Conor's managerial career, which will hopefully bring him back into the league! 👀

A big loss to the league and Galway United for the remainder of the season. Best of luck in retirement Conor! 🫡
