'Happy Birthday' to our amasing Ambassador Dog 'Krunchie' who celebrated her 12th birthday on GDD Friday, May 22nd 🥳 and helped us fundraise in Stillorgan with her owner, Adele Trapnell. A devoted and popular Ambassador Dog, Krunchie always draws the crowd at events and loves a belly rub! Still looking as youthful as ever, we thank Krunchie for all her years of doggie service & wish her a 'Happy Birthday'!

Special Tribute to Guide Dog ‘Urny’. We were very sad to hear that ‘Urny’ who recently retired from working life, passed away last month a day before his 11th Birthday. Urny was Gerda Archer’s 3rd guide dog, who performed his duties admirably and shared a special bond with Gerda, attending fundraisers, talks and events througout his working life. He had a great character, cheeky personality and loved people, often greeting them by getting up on his hind legs & waving his front paws, so was known as the ‘dancing dog’! Gerda kept in contact with Urny and his new family right up to his passing so, although his retirement was short lived, we thank Urny for all his years of active service. We will remember this sweet dog who was loved by many and made us all smile and will be sadly missed. RIP Urny.
