Many people are confused over the UK’s ETA (electronic travel authorisation).
It’s very simple, actually!
IF you’re planning to visit the Republic of Ireland ONLY, then you don’t need the ETA.
However, if you plan to include Northern Ireland (or England, Scotland, Wales), then you DO need it (dependent upon which passport you carry, of course).
Takes about 10 minutes to fill out and only costs £10 (approx US$13 or CA$19 or AUD$20).
