🌞 The weather we have all been waiting for is finally here! 🌞
We hope everyone enjoys the sunshine and makes the most of the good weather over the coming days and weeks. Whether you’re heading to the beach, the river, the lake, or out on the water, please remember to stay safe at all times.
⚠️ Water can be dangerous, even in good weather. A small mistake can quickly turn into an emergency.
Here are a few important water safety tips:
✅ Never swim alone
✅ Keep a close eye on children near water
✅ Avoid alcohol when swimming or boating
✅ Wear a lifejacket when out on boats, kayaks, or paddleboards
✅ Check weather and water conditions before heading out
✅ Don’t dive into unknown water
✅ Stay within your depth and know your limits
✅ Keep phones charged in case of emergency
🚨 If you get into difficulty in the water:
• Try to stay calm and conserve energy
• Float on your back to control your breathing
• Raise one arm and shout for help if possible
• If someone is in trouble, call 999 or 112
Most importantly, look out for one another and enjoy the summer safely.
If you ever require our assistance, just know we are on call 24/7, 365 days a year.
