☀️ Ireland is in the midst of a heatwave, with Met Éireann having issued a nationwide advisory for temperatures widely above 25°C, and reaching the low 30s.

But did you know every forecast, advisory and heatwave declaration depends on ground-level data?

That data comes from Met Éireann's CAMP network – 60 to 80 climate monitoring stations across Ireland, recording air temperature, humidity, soil conditions, grass temperature and rainfall around the clock.

The NVM team supplies, services and maintains these stations nationwide. Calibration, sensor servicing, data verification – the work that keeps national climate data accurate and uninterrupted, especially when it's under the most extreme pressure.

Work is now fully underway on Belfast Harbour’s largest-ever capital investment — a new £90m deep water quay built to welcome some of the world’s largest cruise vessels, with main contractor GRAHAM Group leading the build.

NVM is providing the noise and vibration monitoring for the works, helping the project team keep a close eye on environmental impact as construction progresses.
