Thinking about returning to running after having a baby? 🏃‍♀️

A successful return isn't about waiting for the 6-week check-up and hoping for the best. It's about rebuilding strength, restoring pelvic floor function, and progressing gradually.

Before returning to running, consider:
• Pelvic floor recovery
• Core and hip strength
• Impact readiness
• Any symptoms such as leaking or heaviness

Running should be the goal you build towards — not the starting point.

Does handwriting leave your child with tired hands, sore fingers or frustration? ✏️

For children with hypermobility, writing can require much more effort than most people realise. Flexible joints often mean the muscles have to work harder to create stability and control.

Signs may include:
• Hand fatigue or cramping
• Poor pencil grip
• Messy or slow handwriting
• Difficulty sitting comfortably at a desk

The good news? With the right support, strengthening, posture work and practical strategies can make handwriting feel much easier.
