TRAINING ROTATION!?
Some clips of a circuit from earlier in the week where the goal was to work on, and integrate different rotations that could relate to the my gait cycle and throwing mechanics. β
These days it's common place to see people talking about the importance of training rotations, unfortunately like everything related to the body, this is a more complex equation than your being led to believe. π³
Rotations and spirals in the limbs drive rotations and spirals in the trunk and vice versa. If you're not accounting for this when you train "rotation" then a big piece of the puzzle is missing. π¬
I have lots of work to do to make sure I'm sequencing all of these rotations correctly in order to move without compensations. Thankfully is accounting for more variables than anything else can even come close to π.
Be prepared for the long haul if you want to jump in the ring with FP! Like learning an instrument or a language, competency takes time.
Up early this Christmas Eve! The lab is on the road again. Been doing some surfing here in Morocco π²π¦(if you call barely standing on a canal boat sized board surfing π€£). .
Itβs reminding me of some of my old sneaky asymmetries and dysfunctions, but while the rest of the surfers are warming up doing yoga on the beach π¬ Iβm blasting out some reps on the balcony. No gym needed! π€
Iβve said it before but Iβll say it again. Functional Patterns is the standard. π Iβve surfed in years gone by but a nagging shoulder always held me back. Not this time πͺ .
teaching people how to improve their health and functionality in a way that translates to every day real life scenarios. .
Happy Christmas to everyone at home and abroad! π .
Monday night Mace bell! Trying hard to keep the rib cage and pelvis connected π€The mace is another great tool to help groove the natural rhythms our bodies possess due to walking, running and throwing. Need to figure out how to get less tension in my face π
Our boy pain free, leaned up and looking as smooth as butter after 1 and a half years of Functional Patterns!! π

Before and After Posterior Gait upgrades
Before is a year and a half ago before HBS 1: Suffered lumbar pain, knee pain and shoulder pain every time I ran on the treadmill. I also weighed 201lbs and was constantly suffering weight issues and trained 6 x a week never getting muscle gains or lost any weight.
After 11/24/2019 After HBS 2: I no longer feel any pain during my gait cycle and I now weigh 173lbs and my hormones feel balanced finally allowing me to put on muscle in a functional aspect only by applying .
To me is undeniable and the results will continue to showcase that
