Dalkey Rowing Club is very saddened to hear about the passing of Mickey Comerford.

Dalkey Rowing Club extends our deepest condolences to the family of Michael (Mickey) Comerford who sadly passed away on Sunday. Mickey was an integral part of Dalkey Rowing Club. He was the bowman of the 1975 Senior Men Champion crew. On August bank holiday at the Wicklow regatta we were honoured to have Mickey and the other members of the 1975 crew (Nobby Comerford,David Cunningham, Terrence Keogh & Kevin Carroll) row 50 strokes in the old Malachy skiff that they won in 50 years ago. He will be fondly remebered and missed by his family and friends.

A great day out at the Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club regatta. A great day for the club.

And just like that we have finally sorted our Facebook. Some photos of our regatta that was held in Scotsman’s Bay, Sandycove last Saturday. Big thanks to all the clubs for coming out and huge thanks to everyone involved in the organising and executing. See you all again next year.
