June has been another busy and positive month for everyone at Solmatix, with strong momentum across the business as we continue to grow our presence across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated a number of important milestones, from new framework appointments and project progress to media coverage, award recognition, strategic partnerships and wider business growth.
This month saw Solmatix appointed to the West Mercia Energy Supply and Installation of Solar PV Framework, creating another important route for us to support public sector organisations across Great Britain with trusted renewable energy solutions.
We were also delighted to be shortlisted for Best Family Business at the Antrim & Newtownabbey Business Awards. As a family business approaching 20 years in operation, this recognition reflects the dedication of our team, the trust of our customers and the values that have helped shape Solmatix into Northern Ireland’s longest-established solar specialist.
June also marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter through our strategic partnership with Turkington Windows & Conservatories bringing together two long-established Northern Ireland businesses with a shared focus on quality, service and helping more homeowners access trusted renewable energy solutions. The partnership represents a significant opportunity for Solmatix to support even more domestic customers with Solar PV, servicing, maintenance and aftercare, while further strengthening our position in the residential market.
As our business continues to grow, we were also pleased to expand into additional office space within our building this month, creating more room for our growing team and giving us an even stronger base from which to support customers, partners and projects across multiple markets.
We were also delighted to see our Managing Director, Neville Bell, featured in both the Irish News and Belfast Live during the month, sharing insight on the solar market, busting common myths around Solar PV and reflecting on the journey of Solmatix as Northern Ireland’s longest-established solar specialist.
Away from project delivery and business growth, June also saw our Operations Director, Richard Bartlett, complete the Macmillan Mighty Hike at the Giant’s Causeway, helping raise funds for an important cause. We were also proud to announce Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke as Solmatix’s Charity of the Year, a partnership that will see our team support the charity’s work over the months ahead.
Across every part of the business, June has been about building momentum, strengthening relationships and continuing to support more organisations and homeowners in taking control of their energy future.
As we head into July, there is plenty more to come. We’re looking forward to sharing further project updates, customer stories, business developments and a few exciting announcements already in the pipeline.
Thank you to our team, customers, partners and wider network for your continued support. Here's to another exciting month ahead.
