St. Colmans Juvenile GAA

St. Colmans u12 Hurlers travelled to Killeagh on Sunday morning to take part in their u12 tournament.

St Colmans were in a group with Fr O Neills and Blackrock. We had a ding-dong battle with Fr O Neills in the first game and the teams couldn't be seperated at the final whistle. A draw to start with.

We faced The Rockies in a do-or-die game and after a titantic tussle we emerged victorious by a single point. This meant we topped the group and were into the semi final.

We played Kilworth in the semi final and saved our best for this game. Some fantastic moves ended in some brillant scores and suddenly we found ourselves in the final.

We played the hosts Killeagh in the final and the game was tight early on with the scores level at half time. Killeagh got a great goal early in the second half and try as we might, we could never bridge that gap.

Well done to all the lads today. A fantastic team. A long day with lots of tired limbs at the end.
