Alphasud FC

It is with great regret I announce that as of Monday Alphasud FC has folded.
The club was left with no choice but to resign from the CBSL after 4years of football.
We had four years where we fielded a team every week with ups and downs like any other team & club.
last year we done the cup and league double wining all our games in the league and getting CBSL Team of the year.
We also got to play at turners cross twice last year.
This was necessary due to a set of unfortunate circumstances which befell the club.
The Club and members tried everything but to no avail. We couldn’t get the ball running for the season.
On behalf of Dominic Heffernan and all associated committee members we wish to express our gratitude to those players who stood by us in these hard times, your loyalty and commitment was very much appreciated.
We would wish to thank everyone who played or supported us in the past.
On a personal level I'd like to apologize to those same lads who committed to a year of football that we could not sustain. I wish u all the best .
We would like to wish all clubs in Cork the very best for the year ahead and the future.

Chris Coughlan with his second hattrick in two games. Twice behind in the game we fought well.
Stephen Lynch had a very solid game and won all 50/50s.
Great team performance.
Fair play to Blackrock for giving us a very competitive game.
We now play in the final in Turners cross Tuesday the 22nd KO 7pm.
