FYI Casting Call

CAST WANTED FOR CROSS BORDER FILM:

Auditions for the film “Volkswagen Joe” will take place THIS WEEKEND.

Saturday May 4th in the HUB Centre in Cookstown and Sunday 5th May at the Railway Station, Belturbet from 12pm until 6pm. Men and women aged from 25 to 80 years will be cast. No drama experience is necessary, but we are are also looking for actors with experience.

Lead cast will be paid short film rates.

Joe - Lead character - Car Mechanic / Border all his life.
Required: Males aged 40 to 50

Madge - Joe's co worker and unrequited love
Required: Females aged 35 to 45

Inspector Sam Johnson - RUC Officer Joe's neighbour /vintage car enthusiast
Required: Males aged 45 to 50

Mac - IRA Member
Required: Males aged 35 to 45

Fitch - Scheming Rogue
Required: Males aged 25 to 35

Anne - Joe's Sister
Required: Females aged 35 to 45

Maura - Joe's Mother

Required Female aged 65 – 85
