July 12th 2020 and an eerie silence in The welcome inn. Traditionally at this stage every year we would be flat out with the hustle and bustle of cahirmee alive and well on the doorstep. It’s a strange one lads. I’m sad and dare I say it lonesome for the craic and characters that come with the fair. God is good and see you all this day 12 months for the 100th fair in the town. As Dan Fitz would have said “please god we will see the same faces in the same places”
