Many Irish people use food supplements every day as part of their health and wellbeing routine.

The EU is considering new limits on the levels of vitamins and minerals allowed in food supplements but there are concerns that some of these limits could be much lower than those currently available. This could affect the range and strength of supplements available to Irish consumers, including products containing Vitamin C, Vitamin D and magnesium.

At SOMEGA, we believe consumers should continue to have access to safe, evidence-based nutritional choices and have a voice in decisions that affect them.
