Access UCC

On 23rd April 2026, Access UCC proudly hosted the Traveller Living History Exhibition at University College Cork as part of the 21st Cork Lifelong Learning Festival, a city-wide celebration of lifelong learning featuring over 400 free events throughout festival week.

This event brought together Traveller organisations, students, staff, and the wider community to celebrate Traveller culture, heritage, and identity, while highlighting the importance of inclusion, belonging, and raising awareness of Traveller experiences.

We were especially delighted to welcome primary and secondary school students to campus, including many from the Traveller community, supporting early engagement and helping to build a stronger sense of belonging in higher education.
