Due to unforeseen circumstances training is cancelled tonight. We will be back on Thursday night at 6-7.30pm for junior/senior boxing training 🥊🥊

What a performance by Leah cairns in the S/finals of the national championships. 1st round Leah boxed very well landing everything she threw and gave her opponent a standing count. Round 2 and Leah followed up from round 1 and gave her opponent 2 standing counts and the referee stopped the contest. Roll on the final on Saturday morning

Peter O Donovan is just out of the ring at the national stadium and Peter gave it everything just there we thought it was a bit premature for the referee stopping it so close to the end of round 3. Were very proud of Peter’s performance today.

Rhys Crowley made he’s debut in the national stadium a few minutes ago and gave it everything inside those ropes. Rhys showed he’s opponent too much respect in the ring today. Unfortunately Rhys didn’t get the decision but gained valuable experience today. Head up Rhys and keep learning 🥊🥊

There is no boxing training this week as we have boxers involved in the national championships in Dublin all week.

Underage/junior boxing training today is from 5.30-6.30pm and senior training is at 6.30-8pm. Full gear is needed for training and script is also to be paid . Last session this week for our 4 Munster champions before they head to Dublin next week to compete at the national championships. Martin Leah Peter and Rhys are in fantastic shape and rearing to go for next week🥊🥊

A great session done by the junior/senior classes this evening with plenty of sweat from everyone. A few sparred off tonight and plenty of combinations thrown by them all. Great to see Afonso back training and getting into shape .Keep up the great work everyone.
