Our U14s A lads were in action against Lakewood last night in the cup running out 4-1 winners

Senior make it 13 wins on the bounce !!!.

Ringmahon Rangers 2 – 1 Rockmount ❤️🖤⚽️

In the final game of the season, the Beamish Munster Senior League champions signed off in style with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Rockmount.

With a number of junior players included in both squads, it was Rockmount who struck first. Playing with the aid of the wind, they started brightly and took the lead through a superb long-range effort from Josh Lombardi.

Despite falling behind, Ringmahon gradually grew into the game. Cairns Kiely and Nathan Broderick looked lively going forward, while McCarthy and Whitehead played key roles as the champions worked their way back into the contest.

At half-time, a number of changes were made, and Ringmahon continued to push for an equaliser. Their persistence paid off when Luke Kiely found the net following a strike from distance to bring the sides level.

The winning goal was an absolute cracker and a fitting way to end the season. Captain Anthony Macalvey produced a moment of magic, unleashing a stunning 25-yard rocket that flew into the net and secured all three points for the champions.

A perfect finish to an outstanding campaign, Ringmahon end the season with 47 points from a possible 54, suffering just one defeat, away to St Mary’s, and finishing with an incredible run of 13 consecutive league victories.
