The inaugural Global Cork Economic Forum at Cork City Hall. This inaugural Forum, chaired by John Mullins, saw influential Cork Diaspora coming home for meaningful discussions on economic revival and job creation specific to the Cork region. MC for the event was TV, radio host and best-selling author, Matt Cooper.

The event formed part of the International Naval Festival and took place on Friday, 18th October, in the Lower Cork Harbour with British, Russian, French and Belgian war ships taking part. This traditional gathering of ships which was observed by the Minister for Justice and Equality and Minister for Defence, Alan Shatter TD.
