CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSIONS IN OUR FAMILY OF PARISHES

In St Finbarr's Church, Bantry the Procession will take place after the 6.15pm vigil mass on Saturday 6th June. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in St Finbarr's church will take place after the 12noon Mass until benediction at 6.00pm on Sunday 7th June

The Bantry Procession will follow the same route as last year. Procession will exit the church and turn left towards the grotto, then around the church, passing the graveyard where we will remember our loved ones, then exiting on to the road where we will turn left proceed down the footpath and turn left again ascending the steps where benediction will be imparted ON THAT EVENING, ONLY THE DESIGNATED CAR SPACES WILL BE USED FOR .NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED ELSEWHERE ON THE GROUNDS AS THE SPACE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR PEOPLE TO WALK THE ROUTE. The blessed sacrament will lead the procession and the congregation will follow. By following Jesus along the route.it is a time of personal reflection as we ponder on the real presence and walk in his footsteps.

The Procession will take place in Coomhola after the 10.30am Mass on the 7th of June

The Procession in Caheragh will also take place on Sunday June 7th after the 11.15 am mass

On the following Sunday, the 14th June, the Procession will take place in keakil after the 10.30am mass
