Tumble dryers can be a fire hazard if you forget to clean out the lint filter correctly. The filter is easy to remove in most models, check the manual if you are unsure where to find it . When you have this done it is a good idea to use the vacuum cleaner nozzle to remove fluff and lint from area around the filter.
The filter should be cleared after each use.
If you have a condenser dryer remember to empty the water reservoir regularly and wash out the condenser once a month.
