Here at Barrett Opticians we specialise in testing patients with special needs. We like to make every experience as comfortable as possible and tailor each test to every patient’s individual needs. 🙂
We like to invite family or friends into the testing room to make the patient feel more relaxed. We can adjust the lighting in the room to a more soothing setting if required.
We can demonstrate testing on a parent or friend to show the patient how non-invasive and easy it is. We can use pictures, letters or numbers to assess vision. We can allow extra time to assess each patient so the test can go at their pace.

Applying for you provisional driver’s license? Our driving test eye examination includes full eye test and field test for peripheral vision for Group One and Group Two (truck/bus) drivers.
