The asked me some questions earlier in the year for their In The Making series. This series asks some of Irelands top creatives (supposedly me guys) to share what has gotten them to where they are today. My cat is obviously mentioned and also how I came to be working in the area I am now. Thanks to all at the 100 Archive for asking me, it was nice to reflect and dig through the archives. 💯 Was a real privilege to be asked to be on the speaking panel this year at Dublin, speaking about Craft in Design. My nerves turned into delusion and I got high on the power of holding a microphone 😅 Also so nice to be featured in one of the selected projects by .design and photographed by .connolly

📣I have now mastered Keynote so I’m available for talking out loud and simultaneously showing pictures to a crowd near you. Thanks to all involved and any listening ears 🥰

Some Ai experiments in FireFly, which is the Ai prompt programme that Adobe has been developing. Supposedly ethical as everything they’re scraping from is ‘out of copyright, licensed for training, or in the Adobe Stock library. Kinda fun to see the weird way it interprets prompts and gives very unexpected results sometimes. Use of colour is way too strong as well. I tried a few prompts referencing others, Wes Anderson salad for example, and this comes up with an alert that this breaks the terms of use. Overall interface is way nicer and less stressful than Midjourney and will be handy to create sketches possibly but as it has less ‘data’ aka artist and designers to pull from it’s not as specific or realistic as other programmes 🤷🏼‍♀️ Quite terrifying in general overall, in terms of what it means for design going forward but also getting too smart and destroying the human race lol not funny 🥴🤡
