Massive congratulations to my niece Ally Duffy on setting a new Irish U18 record in the Steeplechase.
Competing in Milan, Italy yesterday, Ally ran the 2000m steeplechase in 6:45.00 — an incredible ten seconds inside the qualifying time set by Athletics Ireland for the European Athletics U18 Championships in Italy this July.

Her winning time also surpasses the previous Irish U18 record by more than three seconds.

Well done Ally, we are all very proud of you!
