Tea culture in Bali is quietly growing 🍵🌿
From ceremonial matcha and Chinese tea tastings to spiced chai and slow afternoon tea rituals, these are some of our favourite tea houses across the island.
Some are calm and meditative. Some feel social and creative.
Whether you’re into matcha, pu-erh, chai, herbal blends, or traditional tea ceremonies, Bali’s tea house aesthetic could rival it’s coffee culture.
Save this for your next slow afternoon in Bali and comment who you’d invite to tea!✨

One of Ubud’s most talked-about cafés… and honestly, it’s not just hype.
Mudra feels like the kind of place people accidentally spend half their day in. Open-air bamboo architecture, jungle views, live music flowing through the space, and a crowd that somehow feels both creative and deeply relaxed.
This is the kind of Ubud spot you remember long after your Bali trip ends. Save this for your next Ubud café list 🌿
Our team recently spent time with Made learning how to cook some Balinese dishes with a plant-based twist… and we absolutely loved it 🌿✨
This is a wholesome, hands-on experience that we’re happy to share with our community. We learnt about some local ingredients and how to make things from scratch. It felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into Made's kitchen!
Some of the dishes you can expect to create include:
🥥 Balinese Moringa Soup
🥢 Teriyaki Tempeh (famous at Sayuri)
🥜 Gado-Gado Sauce
🌱 Sayur Urab
🌶️ Sambal Matah

Kuta has more than beach clubs and busy streets 👀☕️
Hidden between the crowds are cafés with seriously good coffee, cozy interiors, and spots worth slowing down for. From specialty coffee and creative lattes to warm bakery corners and aesthetic spaces — these are some cafés we think deserve more attention.
Perfect for your next café hopping day in Kuta ✨
