Kyoto, our second chapter in Japan, felt like stepping into a different world rich with cultural and spiritual history. We left behind the frenetic energy of my Tokyo birthday—days spent getting lost in the city’s labyrinth of restaurants and interactive spaces—and embraced a significantly slower rhythm.
In that space, we found the peace and downtime we needed to connect - after so many hours spent working.
For five magical days, we drifted through the city’s beauty, finding adventure not in the noise but in the profound stillness that Kyoto offers. I hope this helps you feel inspired by the city’s serene and spiritual charm.
It was here that my fascination with Shinto truly came to life. Surrounded by ancient forests and quiet shrines, I felt the profound, animistic truth of Japan’s original spirituality: the understanding that nature is not just a backdrop, but that spirit resides in all things.
Every night I sat everyone down to reflect on the day - what insights did we gain, how do we feel. Sharing these moments of care and connection is important to me, and I also took them with me in these spaces.

Growth Motion - My path is becoming clearer, and I am realizing that my desires, as well as the things that once brought me joy, are evolving into work that increasingly focuses on creating spaces for learning or fostering understanding through art.
The Inner in Romania invited me to speak at their recent conference on the topic of body intelligence: listening, moving, and transforming. I find that when I incorporate my own physical and expressive movement into my educational sessions, it has the greatest impact on people - bringing me the biggest joy.
