🌈…+ I used my own drafted patterns for everything, including the adjustable chest bag and the cropped turtleneck w/ thumbholes. I added vectors to both sides of the neckline We're still a family that wears masks so I made her a "She Is" inspired one!

But I did have to make another pleated skirt…
I. hate. pleated. skirts. I love the way they look; my girls love them and ask for them all the time. It’s just a freaking rectangle, why do they always get the best of me?? I think I’m just cursed😅

I also wanted to make a hybrid hanbok/happi coat w/ deep pockets using various artists work and some of my own graphics for the fabric. I linked all the names I could find on my blog post and had it made by I can’t tell you how amazed I was with how it came out!!

🌈SEPTEMBER!!! Ahhhh! It’s such a big month for us! Azy and I had birthdays, and my sister has one too on the 23rd. AND SO DOES !? I looooooove September!!!
Even though I’m (arguably😌) the biggest shawol in the house I scarcely see for myself… I’m more inclined to sew for my muses and I couldn’t be more grateful that they love too!

For her birthday outfit, Azriella wanted something weird, kinda gothy, and very colorful. She
hated my first sketch of a pencil dress underneath so we sketched out this outfit instead.

The fabric I ordered for the shirt was BEGGING to be altered so we decided to fix it by making a TON of Gasoline vectors. We call it the Track List shirt💕 based off of KEY‘s latest and most magnificent ever album, …

We both had birthdays this past week!! She started high school and Sephira started middle school🤧🥹 They’re getting so big!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT 🌈RAINBOW DASH DRESS I ORIGINALLY MADE IS NOW 10YEARS OLD😱😭 I seriously can’t!!!

This year marks my 10th year blogging at Sew Chibi Designs!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I don’t think I could have ever imagined all the things I would create, the friendships I would make, and the way I developed my not only my sewing skills but my photography, photo editing, pattern drafting, graphics making, sewing tutorial e-booking from non-existent to things I’m really proud of!!!

Easter is one of those big sewing holiday events for us (even though we are not religious, we take holidays very seriously!!!) This year was the most difficult one yet!!

Hard to believe that Akira is going to be in 3rd grade, Sephira graduated elementary school, and Azriella is starting high schoo! 😱 I’m still really and truly grateful that they still love to wear the things I make them and are always asking for more!
