SpongeBob SquarePants (born July 14, 1986) is the main protagonist of the animated series of the same name. He was designed by show creator and former marine biologist, the late Stephen Hillenburg. Stephen Hillenburg based SpongeBob on Bob the Sponge, a character he had created for his educational book The Intertidal Zone in the late 1980s.

Rita Loud is the mother of the Loud children and wife of Lynn Loud Sr.. She is a supporting character in The Loud House, a minor character in The Casagrandes, and one of the main characters in The Really Loud House.

In her youth, Rita attended Royal Woods Middle School, where she participated in the Kangaroo Hop and ended up the runner-up while losing the crown to Brenda Wilkinson. She also attended and graduated Royal Woods High School. As a young adult, she worked as a crossing guard at Royal Woods Elementary School. Around this time, she developed a crush on Lynn Sr., but was too shy to get his attention. One day, Rita saw Lynn Sr. again at the same crossing and slipped a love note into his pocket as he passed by asking him out on a date at Banger's & Mosh.

Marco Ubaldo Diaz is the deuteragonist of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. He is the son of Rafael and Angie Diaz, as well as Star Butterfly's best friend on Earth.

From "Lint Catcher" to "Cornonation", he lives on Mewni with Star and her family. As of "Doop-Doop", he goes back to living on Earth with his family. From "Here to Help" onward, he is Star's boyfriend.
