Did you know? Indonesia has traditional environmental practices long before modern conservation we know today exist! ๐๐
Long before modern conservation became a global movement, indigenous communities across Indonesia had already applied ways of living in harmony with nature
For generations, indigenous communities in Indonesia have been viewing forests, rivers, oceans, and land not simply as source of resources, but a legacy passed down to future generations ๐ฃ
Here are some environmental traditional practices that still exist to this day, guiding local communities across Indonesia to protect nature in their surroundings

Did you know? Indonesia is a home to more than 30,000 flora with over 5,000 native trees, the richest in Southeast Asia ๐๐ณ
This diversity is beyond number; it impacts ecological functions such as soil fertility, regulates water systems, supports carbon sequestration, and provides habitat for countless animals ๐พ๐ฆ๐ฟ
Each native tree plays a unique role in sustaining life and ecosystem balance
Planting native tree species is one of the ways we can do to help protect biodiversity and ensure they continue to sustain future generations on Earth
Now itโs time for us to act. Plant native trees, protect what remains, and be part of the movement ๐ณโจ You can be part of our tree planting mission and plant trees with us. Join our BiodiversiTree campaign this month! ๐ฑ๐

We recently collaborated with EcoCreative Cluster and Batik Mekar Canting Group in an online discussion exploring mangrove restoration and batik-making with natural dyes ๐ฟ๐
We also thank EcoCreative Cluster for donating mangrove trees to support coastal communities and mangrove restoration efforts in Kampung Laut, Cilacap ๐ฑ
Thank you for the meaningful collaborationโจ
Happy World Biodiversity Day! ๐๐ฟ๐ฆ
As one of the worldโs megabiodiversity countries, Indonesia holds the second-highest level of biodiversity on Earth. Biodiversity serves as natureโs support system, sustaining ecosystems and all living beings ๐ฑ๐พ
Unfortunately, in recent years, Indonesia has faced increasing pressure from environmental exploitation and land conversion.
If this continues, leading to biodiversity loss and species extinction, what do you think will happen in the future? ๐
We captured wildlife within our tree-planting areas! ๐พ๐ณ
Weโre excited to see that as our planting areas thrive, they are becoming habitats for wildlife๐ฆ๐
