The batik craftsmen usually get the ability to make batik from generation to generation and each region has different batik motifs. As for some batik motifs in Indonesia that are usually produced by Indonesian people, including:

- Arabica Coffee from the Bajawa Flores region has a fairly thick thickness, but its acidity level is low. Unlike most coffees in Indonesia, this coffee has a dominant flavor of chocolate and vanilla with a slightly nutty after taste.
- Toraja Coffee in Sulawesi tends to have an earthy taste, like the taste of soil or forests with low acid content. But it usually doesn't leave a bitter after taste which for some people is annoying.
