If you’ve dived with us chances are that you’ve met our eco champion and operations manager Sofia 💪🏽
She’s been involved in many marine conservation projects over the years and has recently been working very hard to launch an exciting new project and needs some support as it takes off!
In the beautiful coastal area of Golomori, Indonesia, a group of dedicated individuals is working tirelessly to protect the marine environment and empower local communities. This region, rich in biodiversity and natural beauty, faces increasing threats from tourism and development. The team, known as Konservasi Tacik Indonesia, is committed to fostering sustainable practices and preserving the marine ecosystems that are vital to the livelihoods of the local people.
Their approach is holistic, focusing on community empowerment through education, eco-tourism, and conservation efforts. They aim to involve everyone, especially women and youth, in creating lasting change. The project also includes real conservation work, such as coral reef monitoring and habitat restoration. However, they are just starting and need financial support to get off the ground. Even a small contribution can make a significant difference in their first year.
If you can, please consider donating to help protect this incredible part of the world. Your support will help ensure that the sea remains a source of life and prosperity for generations to come. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact.

We just received our official evaluation results from this years Green Fins assessment 💪🏽
We are happy to announce that we retained our silver level of membership and improved our environmental score from last year! 🥳🥳🥳
There are always ways to decrease our impact and by having yearly Green Fins assessments we are better able to identify what we can work on to make our service better.
Our main action points to focus on this year are:
⭐️ Using more environmental educational materials
⭐️ Keep up to date with changing local environmental laws
⭐️ Find better and more biodegradable cleaning products for disinfecting.
What a cool encounter with a Round Ribbon Tail Ray, also known as a Marbled Ray!
These large rays are often seen resting on the sea floor during the day, we were lucky to see one swimming so close. Although these giants are non-aggressive, they do have a venomous barb on their tail used for defense when threatened.
