1 little sailboat, 2 sailors, 295 days, 3,500 nautical miles, 6 seas, 3 countries (yes, we consider West Papua a country ✊🏽), 9 (18 if you include getting out) bar crossings, 7 items lost to the drink, 43 knots - highest wind reading, 7,000 meters (23,000 feet) deepest depth reading, 40 books read, 1,089 podcasts listened to, 22 cans of beans consumed, 1 hitchhiking bird on deck, 2 groundings, 2 “we’re sinking” moments 😱, 1 unused life raft (whew!), 93 bandaids used, 1 dislocated knee, innumerable new friends made, dozens of whale and dolphin visits, immeasurable moments of awe of this gorgeous planet, and a married couple still very much in love with one another and this incredible life we’re sharing.

Found a new sailing passage here in Jakarta! Great food nearby for provisioning too.
