Our artisanal work, many times is about seeing the potential of what’s left behind. The remnants, the rejects, the unfinished. We hope to rediscover more of their potential, by rethinking, and redesigning how their values can be multiplied.

Sika in reworked chenille.

It’s easier to reassemble 2 pieces of small chenille offcuts into a single bigger piece and to retouch the colour to maximise its potential. It feels magical!

Wear it as an odd shape oversized clutch or sling it.

Grey Rainbow Oana.

We reworked the remainder of a customed jersey textile for cushion covers to reveal the inner layers. The curly effect will grow softer as you wear it often.

Sandy beige Muri clutches.

1 to 2 small samples with lesser layers are usually made for a customised tapestry. The pattern that’s not chosen to be made into the actual size tapestry will eventually be made into interior furnishings or fashion accessories, like these new, more spacious, Muri clutch-shoulder bags. ☺️

The “putri malu” textile.

When the jersey curls up after being cut, it reminds me of the Mimosa, also called shame plant or putri malu, when you touch the leaves, they fold inward to protect themselves. It’s one of those lovely surprises when we play with worn-out jersey t-shirts and post-production offcuts.
