Gus is a 35 years old man who currently is a teacher. He’s got beautiful wife, Dinda and a 6 years old boy, Sila. Gus bought a land recently in Denpasar about 100 m2 and want to have an one floor house that can easily be renovated to two floor house once he has enough money.

Gus wants a house that feels open, with small garden. He wanted a house that so simple yet unique. A space that humble and welcoming for his family and for his guests.

The owner of Laundry Lounge asked us to propose a design for their first laundry business in Bali. They wanted to create not just a laundry, but a small hub for the customer to sit and meet new people while waiting for their laundry. They wanted to add more values to their customers besides a clean clothes.

The main problem that we're facing is that the small space that available (10m x 3.7m). It was a good space for laundry or for a hub. But for two of them at once, it's a little bit tricky. The goals are to create optimum space for these function within the space that available and also to make it feel wide and light.
