i arrived in japan less than 24hrs ago after many delays and not knowing if i would make it to my retreat on time, but the universe always has a plan

they held the plane for me to make my layover, and i made it on time, sadly my luggage did not. i am so grateful for these retreat guess who have offered me clothes and toiletries until my bag (hopefully) arrives

we are staying at , a 550+ year old temple know for its healing properties, specifically for healing eyes

this temple is around the foothills of mt fuji, a small quiet town where the sakura is in peak bloom as we arrived

i was feeling upset and defeated but the second i arrived at the temple everything shifted

life is always beautiful, it just depends on your perspective

i’m posting this from our private onsen with healing mineral water from a temple at mt minobu, i have to get back to my bath now but can’t wait to share more with yall 💋
