This thought came to me in the middle of my somewhat anxious tossing + turning last night. What do you think? This is not such a radical idea, i don't think, as many other countries offer far more generous personal leave + certainly center wellness more effectively than the US does. Self-directed wellness, very broadly conceived, should be supported, encouraged + funded, my sleep-deprived mind concluded last night. What are your preferred self-care activities? Some of mine are experiencing live music, hikes in forests, meditating on the beach, lifelong learning + perhaps my favorite, sensory deprivation floating .
