SILVER SKIN is the innermost layer of the coffee cherry surrounding green bean. This substance isn't easy to remove however roasting process dries the silver skin and begins to loosen when coffee bean expands. This dry thin layer called CHAFF. Chaff fall off inside chaff collector cyclone and has to remove after batches of roasting
