MARAPU are a solid voice for Reggae in Bali. Their roots of origin however, grow from Sumba, an Indonesian island further to the east. For our 33rd live video they perform their homage to home ground, a song that warmly welcomes us all to their land, culture and music. As we were hit with a wet season downpour while setting up for this recording, the track was played out under The Bali Rooftop, where our familiar backdrop of beautiful green rice fields can be seen through the windows.
