Dublin Bay Prawns Lacrosse

Third in our series of player profiles (but first in many hearts) is Ger Harris, veteran Prawns defenseman.

Another product of the UCD Lacrosse system, Ger Harris holds the joint record for the most ILL Championships on his CV having won titles for all three lacrosse clubs in Dublin. Described by many as a 'cerebral' defender, Gerard refuses to utilise physicality on the field, preferring to halt attacks purely through precise poke checks and superior positioning. On the ball, he is regularly reprimanded by his teammates for attempting to play offence with a d-pole, despite his protestations that he hits the crossbar more often than any other pole in Irish lacrosse history.

Ger was an integral part of the Prawns Defence last season and is primed to carry on that form into this campaign having finally reached his target body fat percentage of 4%. Something tells me the ILL has yet to see the full power that this 'Cannon' can truly unleash.
