It was an interesting task and a big challenge to take a moment from the movie Alien and bring the anxiety, fear, and claustrophobic atmosphere into a geometric image. Also printed on 3 plexiglasses, this graphic will manifest itself in the Space Object series around January.

Stolen Moment

One of the greatest losses of our time
is not time itself,
but the moment of presence.

The online world does not take experience away,
it almost precedes it.
Before a situation can fully come into being,
it dissolves into the continuity of constant stimuli.
Attention never truly arrives;
it quietly keeps sliding forward.

Today, beauty is no longer enough simply by existing,
no longer enough to be real.
What becomes visible is what reacts instantly,
flashes, moves, explodes,
what overwhelms the moment’s own sense of time.

Thus perception gradually detaches from the present.
Not because there is nothing to see,
but because there is no time to remain.

Attention grows exhausted
before it can linger and turn into experience.
And the moment remains stolen,
not by an external force,
but by the permanence of continuous interruption.

The question is no longer what we see,
but whether we are still capable
of stopping
and truly entering it.
