〰️ HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY, ALWAYS 🌸
Truly wonderful things have been happening lately! A few weeks ago, reached out to me, they wanted to surprise their female employees with something special for International Women’s Day. They were thinking about charms that could be attached to thin textile bracelets, symbolizing female unity, dedicated work above the clouds, friendship, love, and appreciation. 🕊️🩷☁️

I started by sketching the design concepts, keeping in mind that I had less than a month to deliver 150 small pendants. So I followed the clean, minimalist line drawings I personally love, and designed within the possibilities of the ancient lost-wax casting technique. The charms had to be friendly, easy to thread onto the bracelet cord, pleasant for everyday wear, and a reminder for the girls that they can fly on their own wings too. After a few approved drafts and some new ideas from the client, three final designs were selected.

Then came the wax model making — three of each design — so the foundry could gum them together, create casting trees, and multiply them until we reached the total of 150 pieces. After that, I worked on the raw castings: sawing the pendants off the sprues, refining, filing, sanding each piece, and finally polishing the little charms by hand and machine.

The pace was intense, but I’m endlessly grateful and happy that the Wizz Air team thought of this idea and reached out to me as a sustainable, local creator to bring it to life. Thank you so much - may these little charms bring something good to each and every one of you! 🙌🏽💓

〰️ BOLDOG NŐNAPOT MINDIG 🌸 Igazán jó dolgok történnek mostanság! Képzeljétek, pár hete megkeresett a Wizz Air, hogy idén valami különleges meglepetéssel szeretnének kedveskedni a női dolgozóiknak Nemzetközi Nőnap alkalmából. Olyan PLANTETHICS charm-okon gondolkodtak, amik vékony textil karkötőre erősíthetők, és kifejezik a női összetartozást, odaadó munkát a felhők felett, a barátságot, szeretetet, és megbecsülést. 🕊️🩷☁️

Először nekiláttam a design tervek megrajzolásának, ahol azt is szem előtt kellett tartani, hogy kevesebb, mint egy hónap alatt 150db kis medált kell letennem a megrendelő elé, így az amúgy általam is kedvelt, letisztult vonalrajzok mentén haladt a képzeletem és az ősi viaszveszejtéses technika lehetőségeivel terveztem. Legyen barátságos, a fonal-karkötőre könnyedén felfűzhető, kellemes, mindennapi viselet, ami emlékezteti a lányokat arra, hogy akár a saját szárnyaikon is repülhetnek. Ezután jött pár terv elfogadása, pár újabb megrendelői ötlet, majd végül 3 design került kiválasztásra.

Nekiláttam a viasz mintakészítésnek, mindegyik típusból 3-3db született, hogy az öntödében legumizva, csokrosítva lehessen sokszorosítani és összesen 150db ékszer kerüljön ki. Ezután következett a nyers öntvények kidolgozása, a beömlőkről lefűrészelni a medálokat, majd eldolgozni, reszelni, csiszolni minden egyes tárgyat, végül kézzel és géppel polírozni a kis charm-okat.

Így született ez az újabb egyedi, limitált kollekció. Szoros volt a tempó, de végtelenül hálás és boldog vagyok, hogy a Wizz Air munkatársainak eszébe jutott ez a gondolat, és megkerestek fenntartható, hazai alkotóként a megvalósítással kapcsolatban. RESTLESS – kortárs ékszerkiállítás a FISE Fiatal Iparművészek Stúdiója Egyesület galériájában, szeretettel várunk benneteket! ✌🏽🤍

Nyolc alkotó, akiket a hétköznapokban ritkán hoz össze az út, mégis közös tapasztalat mentén kapcsolódnak: a RESTLESS állapota.

A kiállítás a kibillenés és újrarendeződés folyamatos dinamikáját vizsgálja. A külső nyomás belső feszültséggé, majd átalakulássá sűrűsödik - ahol energia és kimerülés ugyanazon folyamat különböző állapotai. Az ékszerek nem válaszokat adnak, hanem lenyomatokat rögzítenek anyagban, formában és gondolatban. A nemzetközi és hazai designszíntéren ismert alkotók eltérő nézőpontjai egymás mellett váratlan összhangot teremtenek, nyitva hagyva az értelmezés terét.

RESTLESS – contemporary jewelry exhibition

Eight artists, whose paths rarely cross, are connected by a shared experience: the state of being RESTLESS.

The exhibition examines the ongoing dynamics of imbalance and realignment. External pressure condenses into inner tension, then transforms — where energy and exhaustion are not opposite, but different states of the same process. The jewelry offers no answers, only traces captured in material, form, and thought. Artists recognized in both international and Hungarian design circles bring divergent perspectives together, creating unexpected harmony while leaving room for interpretation.

〰️ Ezeket a kis szikla darabokat eredetileg viaszból faragtam ki kézzel, szép feladat volt, és egészen élethűek lettek. :) Fair trade ezüst és tartós 14K aranyozott ezüst verzióban fülbevalóként elérhetők a -ban a többi ékszer és sok-sok hazai fenntartható divat/design kincs mellett.

〰️ Originally I hand carved these tiny rock pieces out of wax, it was quite a job, but looks so real. :) You can have them as ear studs in fair trade 925 silver or fair trade 14K gold plated silver in the among other jewelry and further sustainable fashion/design treasures.
