🎸 The Governor compressor’s HARD mode works brilliantly for bringing out the string attack and texture of plucked instruments.

We recommend relying mainly on the first slope, as the Governor already has plenty of bite in HARD mode. Be prepared to adjust the dry/wet balance as well—parallel compression can help preserve the natural dynamics while adding definition and character.

For the best results, try a slow attack and fast release. 🔥
