In all the time I’ve been a “public figure” , there’s really no great privilege from it than people being excited you are willing to get involved and use your platform . There’s a special sort of gratitude to be had when folks are just pumped you want to participate, and that is always something I have held really dear. This is my second year doing the Makers Way show, a show celebrating Maines creativity and local flavors, and while I still don’t consider myself a model, I am more than happy to lend my time to this. . From Ghanaian jewelry to the cutest backless mini , to meeting the governor, this year celebrated so much creativity coming out of our humble state. Thank you for having me .

I don’t know who needs to hear hear this, but you can literally just get up and decide to do something cool. Or new. Or different. Or be different or think different. Make “cringe” and being nonchalant become propaganda you’re not buying, and you’ll be amazed at what starts coming your way.
