Finally! The battle with Croatian bureaucracy (at least the first round) has been won, and 'Croatia, a Survival Kit for Foreigners' has been printed locally and is now available in bookstores in Croatia.
Co-Author Paul Bradbury and Lauren Simmonds will be presenting their new book for the first time at the Discover Croatia store on Narodni Trg in Diocletian's Palace between 18:30 and 19:30 on Sunday November 20.
Signed and unsigned copies will be available on the night with a 10% discount off the RRP of 129 kuna.
After the signing at 19:30, we will retire to Paradiso Bar (Kamila Tončića 4) for drinks and more drinks until falling over time, if anyone wants to join.
The book will also be available for sale in the pub afterwards but with credit cards ONLY (Croatian bureaucracy round 2). All welcome and thank you to all who have helped us get the book over the line.
If you are planning on coming, please click 'going' so that we have an idea of numbers. If you are coming for the drinks afterwards, please like this post with a heart, so that we can plan numbers with the pub. See you there!
If you can't make it, the book will be available in Hocu Knjigu stores (you can already order online https://www.hocuknjigu.hr/.../croatia-a-survival-kit-for...) next week, as well as other stores around the country soonafter.
