A Glossary of egg dishes/ Glosario de platos a base de huevo

Sunny-Side-up = A fried egg with an intact liquid yolk. It's never flipped./ Un huevo frito con la yema líquida intacta. Nunca se le da la vuelta.

Over Easy = A Sunny-Side-Up egg that's flipped, with a liquid yolk center./Un huevo Sunny-Side-Up volteado, con un centro de yema líquida.

Over Hard = A Sunny-side-Up egg that's flipped, with a fully cooked yolk./Un huevo Sunny-side-Up volteado, con la yema totalmente cocida.

Poached = Unshelled eggs cooked in a hot liquid./Huevos sin cáscara cocidos en un líquido caliente.

Eggs Benedict = An open-faced poached egg sandwich with ham or bacon and Hollandaise./Un sándwich abierto de huevo escalfado con jamón o bacon y salsa Holandesa.

Scrambled = Egg whites and yolks are beaten together and cooked in a skillet./Las claras y las yemas se baten juntas y se cuecen en una sartén.
