Kenneth Li is a Hong Kong-based jazz violinist, composer and arranger, renowned for his improvisational finesse and eclectic style blending jazz, classical, and samba influences.

He began with classical violin training in childhood before pursuing jazz, composition, and samba percussion at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He later completed a doctoral degree in composition at The Chinese University of Hong Kong under Professor Wendy Lee.

Li's international musical footprints include the UK, US, Canada, France, and Hong Kong, where he has collaborated at notable events such as the WestK Pop Fest, Jazz Fest, and the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival. He founded Korvi Quartet, Hong Kong's first professional jazz string quartet, focused on reimagining standards and original works.

His compositions have appeared at the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) World New Music Days and the Asian Classical Music Initiative (ACMI) International Conference.

Kenneth launches his “Symphonic Jazz Odyssey” on February 22, featuring his concerto suite “Sagittarius” for jazz quartet and orchestra, plus an arrangement of a playful Duke Ellington medley. Read more details at https://cultureplus.asia/event/symphonic-jazz-odyssey/
