Too often, we throw away our lives to prove a point or stand our ground. Too often, we strive to live positively and peacefully, only to find that others resent seeing good things. Lord God, I beg You to temper my arrogance in heated moments. Help me to reflect Your humility in my thoughts and actions. Don't let me become just another statistic.

I tend to calculate my battles and go all out, without considering the strengths or weaknesses of the offender. But that's not a healthy way to live. As we grow older, responsibilities increase, and so must our wisdom.

Black men, it's time to put down the guns and the knives. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I have: we are often the architects of our own downfall. It's not the drugs, not the poverty—it's us, working against ourselves. Our leaders line their pockets, while our role models glorify violence, s*x, drugs, and alcohol.

It’s all part of a larger scheme. The world is controlled by a few powerful figures—those who share a vision, a common goal, and the same moral standpoint.

Wake up. Too many of us are caught in this destructive cycle. It’s time to break free.
